830 - Bank Lecturers in Early Education and Childcare
Temporary, Part Time Hours as Required ( Day & Evening)
£28,726 - £36,873 (Bar £32,693) pro-rata
Candidates holding TQFE will commence on £31,577 per annum
Due to the Scottish government increasing
the early education workforce over the next few years we are now looking to add
to our bank for lecturers in early education and childcare as we are increasing
our courses to meet this demand.
You will teach both academic and vocational
subjects at a variety of levels to a diverse range of students in the above
area. As a
professional member of the teaching staff of the College, you will be
responsible for the preparation of lessons; the teaching of students and the
marking and assessment of their work.
To apply for this position you must have a relevant
qualification at SCQF level 8 or 9 and a relevant Professional Qualification, coupled
with recent and relevant vocational experience. The successful candidate will have excellent
IT skills (with a working knowledge of MS Office), good communication skills,
and have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to
present complex information clearly and effectively.
Previous teaching experience is desirable
but not essential.
