Working as part of a development team you will deliver new features to existing systems and facilitate the development and implementation of new systems in line with the College’s Strategic vision.  There are many exciting opportunities and developments as we work towards new technology rich campus facilities in 2015.   You will assist in the design, development, maintenance and support of the planned cross-College information systems portals.  

Successful applicants must hold a HND in Computing or other relevant qualification or demonstrable experience in a systems development environment.  Experience of PHP or other scripting language, coupled with an understanding and experience with MySQL, Oracle, MS-SQL databases are also essential. 

Knowledge of Drupal or similar CMS would also be advantageous.   Ideally the successful candidate will be experienced with HTML, CSS, responsive design and  using JavaScript frameworks and libraries 

Successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Disclosure Check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
