Temporary until 31/12/2013 Part-Time, 14 hours per week (to be worked on Monday and Tuesday) £24,477 - £27,184 per annum (pro rata as appropriate)

The successful candidate will join a team of Learning Technologists, supporting academic staff in the creation of learning materials, delivering training to staff and students and in administering the virtual learning environment.  A good eye for design and excellent multimedia skills are essential for this post.

You must be pro active in keeping up to date with the latest technologies and able to translate technical topics into a format that is easy to understand for non-technical audiences. The post holder will be expected to develop a baseline of skills in multimedia, but also to have a technical specialism and be able to develop materials that are accessible.  

The successful candidate will have strong web development and design skills, with a working knowledge of PHP, CSS, JavaScipt and HTML5.To apply for this position you must have previous experience of learning technologies project work, the development of learning technology applications and tools, along with a good understanding of accessibility, equality and legal compliance in materials development. 

Successful applicants will be subject to a PVG Disclosure Check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
